Explore the magic all around you and right at your fingertips in this varied region and enjoy our South Tyrolean environment. Traditional mountain huts made from wood and stone are typical of our idyllic landscape.

Chalet Grumer enjoys a historical perspective dating back some 500 years based on a natural Alpine flair. The external design of the house features stone walls made from slightly reddish granite from our local Renon mountain. Subtle, modern design features blend in with the beautiful countryside and Dolomite mountains.

The luxuriously design interior of our Dolomites lodge in South Tyrol has been upgraded to create comfortable and spacious surroundings. Panoramic windows offer fabulous views over the Dolomites, making our rooms a bright and friendly place for spending your time. High-quality local materials and seasonal colours give our accommodation a contemporary flair. At the same time, wooden design features like those found in historic South Tyrolean farmhouses create a rustic alpine environment.

Natural regional products are a real feature and, along with the soothing pine aromas, give our interior a pure and cosy feel. Greyish granite floors are typical of regional country houses and our Dolomites lodge. The granite is sourced from the nearby Sarentino valley, which is where the natural spruce and oak wooden floors in some of our suites come from.

5 individual dream suites

Our five suites are individually furnished in a simple yet elegant style to blend in with the surrounding South Tyrolean countryside. Large windows and the general aspect of the chalet offer breath-taking views of the Catinaccio mountain across the Isarco valley and the Dolomites.

With private hot tubs, large terraces, lovely patios and Chalet Grumer’s tended garden, you’re guaranteed many unforgettable enchanting experiences in a natural setting in your very special Dolomite lodge. 

The suites have luxurious furnishings and high-quality interiors so you can have a totally comfortable and carefree holiday. Our interior and exterior alpine design combinations offer a rustic, cosy and homely atmosphere. All bathrooms have a selection of South Tyrolean Trehs products for your washing and beauty pampering. We refresh these daily along with clean towels. Pillows and bed linen are also shaken and aired daily in the fresh mountain air.

Our all-round service is very discreet and minimally intrusive, but we’re always happy to respond to all your requirements. This means we can prepare your welcoming glass of champagne, make sure your laundry is washed and ironed in time for any occasion, that your bags are neatly packed to leave and your dog’s bed is in the right place. We cater for all your wants and needs during your holiday. 

Wellness & Nature 

Our tailor-made wellness & spa area is a particular feature of Chalet Grumer. Our facilities are mainly designed from natural wood and the peaceful, soothing fragrances of pine and spruce are particularly regenerating. A lovely sunny atmosphere is simply the best recipe for physical and mental well-being. 

The semi-circular sauna area within our Alpine lodge has a refreshing mountain fountain made of dolomite rock in the middle. The spa embodies the feeling of a typical mountain barn through the classic Schintel-Vor roof made of centuries-old wood. The rustic bio-sauna, the Finnish sauna and the classic steam room all exude the scent of the pine wood, which promotes good circulation and has a relaxing calming effect. 

You can also relax in our lit indoor pool with massage jets and a hydro-flow system. Or, bathe under the stars in the heated hot tubs offered in the outdoor spa and by two of our suites. In addition to extensive bathing opportunities in the sauna area and the spa, there’s also a cosy relaxation room where you can rest. We have a gym with high-quality Technogym fitness equipment and an inviting Vital bar with refreshing drinks and healthy little snacks.

Chalet life & Private Gourmet Chef

To complement our rustic spa temple, you’ll also find other communal areas inside our cosy chalet. Right by our welcoming reception area on the ground floor, there’s a small but lovely South Tyrolean lounge, a library with a comfortable reading area and an adjoining snug living room where you can invite your guests to drink tea around the traditional tiled stove.

Our elegant dining room is filled with light that rises with the sun above the Dolomites in the east and offers access to the garden. Not only will you love the dreamlike panoramic views, but you’ll also have a fabulous time with exquisite culinary delights in our gourmet restaurant.

The delicious creations of our chef are truly enchanting. Enjoy a substantial breakfast buffet, which can be delivered straight to your room upon request. Our à la carte menu features a range of high-quality seasonal South Tyrolean specialities, all unique, creative and lovingly prepared. If you prefer international cuisine, you can look forward to novel delicacies from all over the world. All our delicious dishes are made from selected high-quality fresh ingredients.
